I have played countless of rounds of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. Given all that I have still lost all kinds of cash at twenty-one. The casinos have made it basically impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this method or defeat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that chemin de fer appears to be a match of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I bet with basic strategy twenty-one. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the successive hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Once I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely enjoyable at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic runs a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a couple of days ago in Macau I left a table with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid to you, leave the original five dollar wager
Bet five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Wager $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the original ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid to you, leave the initial $20 wager
Bet $20
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet $40
Take 40 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of $80
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original 80 dollar wager
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager $160
Take $160 paid to you, leave the initial 1 hundred and 60 dollar bet
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s difficult to go on a run this long, but it does happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
