I have played countless of hands of twenty-one. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have gambled on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at twenty-one. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a match of streaks. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the action back down to the original amount.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had great streaks a few times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a number of years back with $750 after 60 mins using this method! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You have to comprehend that you can say good-bye to much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be amazed at the streaks you witness playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a $5 table.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 10 dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $20
Wager twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave $20 paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original 40 dollar wager
Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of 160 dollar
Bet $160
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you left at this point you would be up three hundred and fifteen dollars !!
It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the end result will not be the same.
