I have gambled on countless of hands of twenty-one. I started working my way into the gambling halls when I was 16. I have bet on online twenty-one, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent a lot of bankroll at twenty-one. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the casino.
I still like the game and gamble on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get flush with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the idea that chemin de fer appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you are not you are NOT!
I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I profit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Luxor a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few weeks ago in Vegas I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see gamble this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar table.
Wager 5 dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet
Wager $5
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager $10
Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Wager ten dollar
Leave $10 paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the initial forty dollar bet
Bet $40
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total bet of 80 dollar
Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the first $160 wager
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and lower your wager or the final result will not be the same.
