I have bet on countless of hands of vingt-et-un. I began sneaking into the casinos when I was 16. I have gambled on online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of funds at chemin de fer. The casinos have made it nearly impossible to defeat the game.
I still like the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have played a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get loaded with this method or beat the casino, still you will have an abundance of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you’re on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I wager with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand again etc. Once I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I lose I return the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting at times. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a number of years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a couple of months ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give away a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would bet if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.
Wager 5 dollar
Take 5 dollar paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager 10 dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the original $10 wager
Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet $20
Take twenty dollar paid to you, leave the initial $20 bet
Wager twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original $40 wager
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take 80 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first eighty dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Wager 160 dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager
If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your wager or the end result won’t be the same.
