Blackjack is a game that reminds me somewhat of a rollercoaster. It’s a game that starts off slowly, but gradually picks up speed. As you grow your bankroll, you feel as though you are on your way to the top of the coaster and then when you aren’t expecting it, the bottom falls out.
black jack is so akin to a wild ride the similarities are ghastly. As with the popular amusement park ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will be going great for a while before it bottoms out one more time. You most certainly have to be a blackjack player that’s able to readjust to the ups and downs of the game simply because the game of black jack is choked full with them.
If you like the petite coaster, one that doesn’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a fatter bet, then hop aboard for the roller coaster ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not considering the drop as they rush quickly to the top of the game.
A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few gamblers adhere to it. In blackjack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s awesome, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better escape in a hurry.
If you don’t, you may not recount how much you enjoyed life while your bankroll was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride … your head in the clouds. As you are recalling "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will clearly remember that disappointing drop as clear as day.
