I have wagered on millions of rounds of 21. I started working my way into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of money at chemin de fer. The gambling dens have made it basically impossible to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or beat the casino, still you will experience an abundance of fun. This method is built on the idea that 21 appears to be a match of runs. When you’re on fire your hot, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and never back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in series your bets go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had great streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a couple of years back with $750 after 30 mins using this technique! And a couple of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!
You must understand that you can lose a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be surprised at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Wager $5
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $10
Wager ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid to you, leave the first $10 wager
Wager ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20
Bet twenty dollar
Take 20 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original twenty dollar bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar wager
Wager 40 dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Wager 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet
Wager eighty dollar
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is iffy to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can’t alter and drop your wager or the final result will not be the same.
