I have played millions of hands of chemin de fer. I started sneaking into the casinos when I was sixteen. I have gambled on online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a little while. Given all that I have still lost an abundance of funds at vingt-et-un. I still like the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get flush with this tactic or defeat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that 21 appears to be a game of streaks. When you’re hot your on fire, and when you are not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy vingt-et-un. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the winnings paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original sum.
I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets very thrilling sometimes. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years back with $750 after 45 minutes using this technique! And a few months ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!
You have to understand that you can squander a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be amazed at the streaks you see playing this way. Below is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.

Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Take $10 paid to you, leave the first ten dollar wager
Bet ten dollar
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Wager $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar bet
Wager 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total wager of $40
Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the first 40 dollar bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of eighty dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first $80 wager
Wager $80
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of one hundred and sixty dollar
Wager $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and sixty dollar bet
If you departed at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it often happen. And when it does you can’t alter and lower your wager or the final result won’t be the same.
