I have enjoyed countless of hands of 21. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was still underage. I have bet on online vingt-et-un, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost an abundance of cash at 21. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the house.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have enjoyed a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You won’t get loaded with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the subsequent hand again etc. Whenever I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the initial bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very disciplined and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome runs a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years ago with $750 after 45 minutes using this tactic! And a few months ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You need to understand that you can lose a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.
Wager five dollar
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial five dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet ten dollar
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $10 bet
Bet $10
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Wager 20 dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the original $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of $40
Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave forty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original eighty dollar wager
Wager $80
Leave $80 paid-out to you for a total wager of $160
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is hard to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
